Building Relationships Beyond the Jobsite

Relationships have always been a major part of Fortify Restoration’s continued growth across Florida. Following the recent acquisition of Beaches Construction, members of the Fortify Restoration team traveled to Panama City Beach to spend time with their new teammates as the companies begin this next chapter together.

The trip gave both teams the chance to step away from emails and video calls and spend real time together where the work actually happens. There were conversations in the field, discussions around the office, a town hall with the team, and plenty of time shared over meals, getting to know one another beyond titles and roles.

As Fortify continues to expand across the state, building relationships within the company matters just as much as growing the business itself. Beaches Construction has built strong connections throughout the Panhandle over many years, and it became clear very quickly why clients and communities trust their team.

There were also a few competitive moments mixed into the week. While not pictured, Beaches Construction owner Philip Bonabi reportedly struck out Fortify CEO Mike Rosen during a visit to the batting cages. According to witnesses, the Beaches team has no plans of letting Mike forget it anytime soon.

Most importantly, the visit reinforced what both teams already shared from the beginning: pride in the work, respect for the people around them, and a commitment to taking care of the buildings and communities that depend on them across Florida. As Fortify continues growing with both Beach Contracting and Beaches Construction, these relationships continue to show what Fortify is as a company. A team built on trust, local knowledge, strong partnerships, and people who genuinely care about the work they do and the communities they serve.
