Storm Preparedness in Focus at BHA Lunch and Learn

Fortify Restoration continues to support the conversations that help communities prepare, plan, and respond with confidence. As part of that effort, our team participated in a recent Lunch and Learn hosted by the Brickell Homeowners Association at Zuma Miami, focused on storm preparedness and the realities of navigating hurricane season across South Florida properties.

The panel was moderated by Donna DiMaggio Berger and featured Joe Thompson of Acrisure Insurance, Nataly Vazquez of Becker Law Firm, Jorge Cabada of Fortify Restoration, Justin Mila of Hotwire Communications, and Marco Mignone, PE, of Epic Engineering.

Jorge Cabada represented Fortify on the panel, sharing insight on how restoration planning, coordination, and early action can support building performance and reduce risk during storm events. The discussion focused on practical considerations for condominium associations and property managers as they prepare for the months ahead.

The event brought together a strong group of condominium leaders and property representatives from across Brickell, including Carbonell, Bristol Tower, 500 Brickell, Courts Brickell Key, Axis on Brickell, Icon Brickell, Brickell Townhouse, Infinity at Brickell, SLS Lux Brickell, Brickell on the River North, and others.

Fortify team members Gisele Saygi and Justin Zisquit attended alongside Jorge, continuing to engage with the community following Fortify’s recent membership with the Brickell Homeowners Association.

We appreciate the BHA for organizing this event and for creating a space where industry professionals and community leaders can come together around topics that directly impact the safety and performance of our buildings.
